Goldie: Body Proxy

Alongside Goldie’s practice is his gender transition, which volley off of each other through his concepts, materiality, and physicality.

An INCUBATOR Solo Exhibition showcasing interdisciplinary artist Goldie and his work traversing his gender transition. Hormone replacement therapy inspires an iterative process of mold-making and casting, birthing a series of variant objects that represent the body’s changing state. The materiality of these objects range in permanence as can be seen in their temporal bananas and more permanent materials such as bronze and resin.
