Between Us

These six poems are reductions of conversations with several people that revolved around sexting, yet many of those conversations would unintentionally reveal a myriad of interconnected social notions. The distinctions of the grayscale colors and space separate each poem (six total), while also allowing them to be interconnected. While “sexting” points to one obvious outcome, these conversations turned poems open up for further inquiry and intrigue into the social, philosophical, and affective. The negative space text is often obscured and toys with that of the public and private.
